80年代起，欧文斯科宁开始迈入中国市场。

1995年：欧文斯科宁(广州)玻璃纤维有限公司正式投产，向华南当地市场供应玻璃棉保温材料，并出口东南亚地区。

1996年：上海欧文斯科宁玻璃纤维有限公司正式投产，为成长中的华东市场提供服务。

1997年：欧文斯科宁（中国）投资有限公司正式成立。

1999年：欧文斯科宁（南京）建筑材料有限公司正式投产，是国内第一家生产挤塑聚苯乙烯硬质泡沫板保温材料的工厂，产品应用于商用建筑和住宅的屋面、地面和墙体等处。

2002年：欧文斯科宁（南京）建筑材料有限公司增建第二条福满乐挤塑泡沫板生产线，提高生产能力，以满足市场对于节能产品的需要。

同年，欧文斯科宁复合材料（上海）有限公司正式投产，生产提供Silentex系统和其它用于汽车工业的解决方案。
