1842年“黄金香”创办人黄知江，从漳州来厦门经营秘制肉松肉脯。黄知江传人黄景于1915年创“黄金香胜记”店号，位于厦门宫仔内(现大同路)。

1956年公私合营，“黄金香胜记” 并入“厦门市食品厂”延续经营。
