1971年，竹内开发了一台2吨级具有摆动臂和360度全回转结构的小型挖掘机（TB1000），从此竹内作为建机生产企业跨出了一步。今天，竹内仍在国内以及海外不断地挖掘6吨以下小型挖掘机的新需求、新功能。继成功地开拓小型挖掘机等建机事业之后，竹内又开创了搅拌机械制造事业以及环境保护机械制造事业。这“三位一体”的事业均贯彻了从开发，到生产、销售、售后服务的独立经营的体制，同时，这些技术为竹内继续开发以改善“地球环境”为目标的新产品提供了综合利用的基础。

海外市场的竹内
