煤炭板块

晋煤集团煤炭板块2014年以晋城本部主力矿井为主体的基础区、以太原煤气化和资源整合矿井为主体的增长区、以8对新井为主体的战略区，全力加快亿吨基地建设。力争通过3-5年时间，形成建设一批、投产一批、达产一批的发展格局，实现新老矿井的正常接替，为建设亿吨基地打下坚实的资源基础。

煤层气板块

晋煤集团煤层气板块设业务职能部门1个【煤层气（燃气）事业部】，专门从事煤层气地面开发利用以及煤田地质勘探的专业化绝对控股子公司1个（山西蓝焰煤层气集团有限责任公司），专业从事煤层气销售、利用的绝对控股子公司1个（山西铭石煤层气利用股份有限公司）和专业从事煤层气管道建设的绝对控股子公司1个（山西能源煤层气有限公司），以及与之相关联的山西晨光物流有限公司、山西易高煤层气有限公司、晋城天煜新能源有限公司、金驹煤电化股份公司、金驹实业公司等售气及用气单位，共同构成晋煤集团煤层气产出—销售—利用的产业发展格局。

电力板块

电力产业是晋煤集团转型发展的特色品牌，拥有全国瓦斯发电CDM收益最多的企业——沁水晋煤瓦斯发电公司。现运行电厂为：金驹股份公司旗下的沁水晋煤瓦斯发电公司、王台热电分公司、成庄热电分公司、成庄资源综合利用电厂和寺河瓦斯电站，装机容量为239MW（其中：瓦斯发电机组189MW，占运行电厂装机容量的80%左右）。2013年，阳城晋煤能源公司2×135MW煤矸石综合利用热电联产项目实现并网发电；寺河矿二号井10MW瓦斯发电工程具备并网发电条件；电力产业总装机容量达到519MW。

煤化工板块

晋煤集团煤化工板块现拥有21家化工生产、研发和销售公司，58个生产厂，5万余名员工，分布于山西、河南、河北、山东、安徽、江苏、湖北、湖南、浙江、北京10个省市，主要产品有：尿素、甲醇、液氨、硝酸铵、碳酸氢铵、磷肥、复合肥、硝铵、双氧水、甲醛、吗啉、苯胺、DMF（二甲基甲酰胺）、液体二氧化碳、二甲醚、三聚氰胺、乌洛托品、油品等40余种。

截至2013年底，总氨产能为1560万吨/年、尿素产能1419万吨/年、其它肥料产能473万吨/年、甲醇产能435万吨/年、精细化工产能147万吨/年、油品产能10万吨/年。2013年，晋煤集团煤化工板块实现营业收入684亿元，利润总额1600万元。

煤机板块

山西晋煤集团金鼎煤机矿业有限责任公司（简称：金鼎公司）是晋城煤业集团全资子公司，是高新技术企业，重大技术装备制造企业，是全国独具特色的集研发、制造、安装、租赁、维修、技术服务于一体的综合性煤机制造企业。公司注册资本9.4亿元，总资产66亿元，在册员工5500余人，下辖39个子分公司。2013年生产经营总额突破30亿元，是中国煤炭机械工业十强企业。公司先后评为全国煤炭机械工业优秀企业、山西省煤炭装备制造十佳企业，荣获山西省科技奉献奖先进集体一等奖、山西省煤矿机电产品先进定点单位、山西省企业文化建设先进单位、山西省转型跨越新锐企业等称号。

晋煤集团多经产业发展局成立于2008年4月16日，下设四个处室：综合处、经济运行处、发展规划处、产权事务处。
