华航飞机维修能力已具备国际竞争力，获得美国联邦航空局（FAA）、欧洲联合民航署JAR-145合格修理厂认证，以及ISO9002标准认证。1994及1998年完工启用的全新发动机维修厂及三机维修厂，成为亚洲最现代化的飞机、发动机维修中心之一。可为波音、空中客车等各类飞机执行A、B、C、中修与D级各阶检修。并代理逾25家航空公司的维修业务。2001年并与法国Snecma签署发动机维修合资备忘录。2006年12月25日，中华航空以无发现事项（nofinding）的零缺失查核结果再次通过国际航空运输协会（IATA）的作业安全查核（IOSA）重新认证。
