嘉腾的核心技术在于使用ARM嵌入式计算机的主控制硬件系统和物流软件系统。软件系统包括AGV中央调度系统、 嘉腾大脑JT Brain、智能制造IMS软件系统、WMS仓储管理系统和WCS 仓储执行系统。其中AGV 中央调度系统是一个能同时对多台AGV实行中央监管、控制和调度的系统。用户可以从系统界面实时的了解每台受控AGV的设备状态、位置、工作状态等情况，还可以自动或者手动的呼叫空闲AGV分配任务。根据用户实际需要，还可以增加AGV故障报警、复杂路段交通管制、AGV系统远程升级维护等功能。正是有强有力的软硬件的支持，嘉腾AGV 可以与ERP、MES、WMS、IMS等系统无缝联接。
到目前为止，嘉腾的智能制造专家团队核心成员已超过十位，分布在大陆、台湾、香港、德国等各地，总部在顺德。嘉腾目前员工300人，其中研发人员100人以上。
