1958年美国年轻的FrankandDanCamey兄弟俩,向母亲借60美元,在美国Wichita开设了第一间必胜客比萨餐厅。

2002年1月必胜客首次在中国推出中式比萨“富香团员”与消费者共度中国新年。3月12日,百胜全球餐饮集团总部在美国宣布:集团内除已拥有并经营的必胜客、肯德基及塔可钟三大著名连锁品牌外,与YorkshireGlobalRestaurants公司签署合约,收购了其属下的A&W及LongJohnSilvers两个国际餐饮品牌。收购这两家新品牌的同时,百胜全球餐饮集团的英文名称将同时由TriconGlobalRestaurants,Inc,改为Yum!Brands,Inc。但百胜集团的中文名称仍沿用目前使用的名称不会改变。

必胜客中国

自1990年在北京开出第一家店以来,必胜客迄今已在中国50多个城市开设了187家连锁店,员工超过1万人。其中,华东市场就有69家连锁店,分布在15个城市。据透露,到今年年底,必胜客在中国的连锁店将达到200家。童若鸣说:“今后,必胜客将保持迅猛发展的势头,使必胜客连锁店及其衍生品牌‘必胜宅急送’在华东市场以及全国市场遍地开花。”

必胜客餐饮集团为进一步加强在大城市布局的同时,已开始大举进军中国的中小城市。据了解,必胜客把中国市场分为4个层次:上海、北京、广州、天津等大城市属于一线市场;南京、杭州、合肥、济南等省会城市属于二线市场;苏州、徐州、常州、温州、宁波、金华、湖州、海拉尔、嘉兴等地级市属于三线市场;而余姚、常熟郴州等县级市属于四线市场。必胜客华东市场总经理童若鸣曾对媒体透露,随着中国中小城市的迅速崛起以及居民消费水平的显著提高,必胜客开始将市场拓展的触角伸向中小城市,特别是以县级市为代表的“四线市场”,以提高必胜客在中国市场的覆盖率和渗透率。

2003年1月,中国必胜客开店突破100家,以此为新起点,必胜客从“休闲餐饮”向“欢乐餐厅”渐进。10月,收回华南必胜客经营管理权以来,经过半年的调整,必胜客 必胜客欢乐餐厅
