山东鹤王生物工程有限公司往前追溯为最早的济南白鹤饮料厂，成立于1985年，是一家村办集体企业，主要产品为碳酸饮料和矿泉水。1997年3月随着我国改革开放的进一步发展，我们的企业改制为民营企业，因当时我们企业所处位置为济南市天桥区白鹤村，“鹤”是我们公司吉祥物，她代表着长寿、健康与吉祥，故我们决定将“鹤王”作为我公司注册商标，企业名称也随之变更为济南鹤王实业有限公司，1998年10月份因企业经营严重亏损，其主要股东撤资退出，同时企业住址又因城市规划而拆迁，企业没有了落脚之处，净亏120多万元，把企业直接逼到了绝路。痛定思痛，发展才是企业的唯一出路。

鹤王人此时没有被困难所击倒，没有消沉，没有报怨，积极想办法，终于于1998年12月份在山东临邑恒源工业园找到了落脚之处，征地8000平方米，新建厂房2000多平方米，我们的吉祥鹤也正式落户到新建厂区，同时我们的鹤王注册商标正式批准下来，1999年5月8号我公司正式成立山东鹤王生物工程有限公司，企业主营业务由原来的单纯碳酸饮料，新上保健食品鹤王阿胶系列、洋参系列、各种营养食品，至此企业走上了健康发展之路。
