1998年，在中国汽车工业的摇篮，有着“汽车城”等诸多美誉的城市——长春，一汽东机工减振器有限公司正式成立。

立足本土产业蓬勃之势，依托日本技术支撑，富奥汽车零部件股份有限公司、日立汽车株式会社精诚携手，历经两年规划布局，一家专注于汽车减振器及相关产品，集开发、制造、销售于一体的企业正式投产，立势创荣。

1999年3月，红旗减振器（CKD）投产，当年5月，2000支红旗前减振器、1000支红旗后减振器投放市场，一汽东机工首战告捷。

2003年4月，具备240万支减振器产能水平的二期工程——联合厂房扩建工程开工，标志着公司二次创业的开始；

从2006年到2010年，一汽东机工昂首阔步、拓域而为，以第二工场为核心的一系列举措稳步推进，为企业的发展，开辟了新的通路。

2012年4月，成都分公司注册成立，一期产能200万支/年；2017年5月，徐水分公司注册成立。预计一期产能200万支/年。

一汽东机工，从一家占地2.4万平方米的工厂，到占地面积10万平方米、拥有14个OE客户，长春、成都、徐水三地同步并举的现代化企业；从立足长春、服务一汽，到覆盖东北、华北、东南、西南、海南岛，辐射美国、新加坡、俄罗斯和中东地区的全球市场布局；从年产120万产品，到近千万支产能销量水平。
