2003年5月28日广州数码乐华科技有限公司在广州经济技术开发区注册成立,由TCL控股(BVI)有限公司与南方科学城发展股份有限公司共同投资兴办。广州数码乐华的主营业务是:研制、开发、生产、销售乐华系列彩电,并提供相关技术咨询及其产品售后服务。自成立以来,在TCL集团原多媒体电子产业研发、采购、制造、物流和服务强大平台之上,从彩电业务入手塑造乐华品牌的市场地位和影响力,并实现了彩电产业的迅猛成长:

2004年数码乐华获得TCL集团管理创新奖,累计销量突破100万台,客户数突破2000个;数码乐华成立两年来,实现市场占有率230%的快速增长,被国内权威市场研究机构中怡康评为“2004中国彩电市场最具成长性品牌”;

2005年10月9日实现本年度累计销量100万台,历史累计销量突破200万台,年度总销量飙升至150万台,快速成长业绩创造了行业奇迹;全国共有26个销售分公司,精英员工队伍700余人,直发经销商3000家、销售网络覆盖全国;产品覆盖CRT、背投、液晶等10大系列计60多个型号。被人民日报社市场信息中心评为“中国消费者满意品牌”称号。

2011年乐华成功签约“乐华电视2010绿色天使旅游小姐全国选拔大赛”冠军王莹小姐。同年9月,乐华成为2011WTA广州国际女子网球公开赛官方唯一指定的液晶电视赞助商。
