桥头火锅连锁作为中华老字号火锅每年销售在千万元以上，并在南京、北京、上海、成都、河南、昆明、太原等地相继开设了重庆桥头火锅店连锁，1996年10月7日，国务院领导（李鹏）率国家十八个部委办的有关人员，亲自品尝了桥头火锅，田纪元副总理、杨白冰主任、商业部长胡平、张世尧等中央领导及陈强、葛存壮、陈佩斯朱时茂、聂卫平、马晓春、曹大元等知名人士和五大洲朋友都留下了赞美“桥头火锅”的佳句，英籍著名华人韩素音女士，亲笔提名称桥头火锅为《天下第一锅》、有“吃在重庆，味在桥头”之美誉。
