麦淘亲子采用“自营+平台”的形式提供产品,自有产品主要包含:麦淘实验室(自然科学)、麦淘童趣汇、本地亲子活动、长线亲子游、营地活动等,自营产品的比例已达 40%~50% 。在经营方式上,麦淘亲子用低价高频的亲子活动获取大量用户,以高品质自营产品打造自有IP,以高价低频的夏令营和游学产品推高销售额和毛利,通过口碑传播现已积累用户超过200万。

完成B+轮融资后,麦淘亲子创始人谢震表示,本次融资将用于自有IP“麦淘实验室”的课程研发和线下活动网点扩张,预计2019年前将在30个城市开设约300个线下科学活动点。“麦淘实验室”是专注为3~10岁儿童提供科学教育(STEM),拥有物理、化学、创客、工程、微生物、自然和博物馆等7大主题科学活动体系,现已在上海、北京、南京、杭州、苏州、青岛等地开设了70个线下活动点,并为南京银城小学、苏州市实验小学等二十余所小学提供科学教育课程。

“麦淘实验室”还和多家高星亲子酒店实现了“旅游+教育”跨界合作,将自研趣味科学课程从教室复制到酒店、度假区,利用酒店已有的儿童活动空间提供素质教育和儿童托管服务。“麦淘实验室”已入驻青岛红树林度假酒店、南京钟山索菲特酒店、苏州黄金水岸大酒店、安吉涵田度假村等多家亲子酒店。

此外,麦淘亲子将进一步完善亲子产业的生态布局。麦淘亲子已经全资收购国际旅行社,完善修学旅行的资质和产品体系。已战略投资科学学校,以加强科学类亲子产品的后继研发。同时将与复星投资的Club Med实现深度对接,与森马旗下的巴拉巴拉开展品牌合作,联合打造亲子俱乐部。
