公司前身晋江恒顺洋伞有限公司，始建于1995年9月22日。十余年来，公司产品销售遍及全球100多个国家和地区，成为我国最大的晴雨伞出口基地之一。

2005年8月22日，福建省经济贸易委员会下文认定梅花伞业股份有限公司技术中心为福建省第九批企业技术中心。2005年12月26日，被福建省科技厅列为福建省第二批行业星火技术创新中心启动建设单位。公司的企业技术中心成为“福建伞业行业星火技术创新中心”。公司技术中心是目前国内晴雨伞制伞行业少有的科研机构之一。公司现为“中国制伞技术专业委员会”副主任委员单位。

1995年9月22日：梅花伞业股份公司前身晋江恒顺洋伞有限公司成立。

2003年3月：通过ISO9001质量体系认证，并在晴雨伞行业中首家通过英国UKS认证、美国RAB认证机构ISO9000国际质量体系认证。

2005年12月28月：晋江恒顺洋伞有限公司依法整体变更设立梅花伞业股份有限公司。

2007年9月25日：深圳证券交易所成功上市，成为晴雨伞行业内唯一一家上市企业。

2008年1月：投资设立泉州梅花户外休闲用品有限公司，进入海滩伞、庭园伞、户外广告伞领域。

2008年6月：成为北京奥运会太阳伞采购项目中标供应商。
