天湘板业隶属于广州天之湘装饰材料有限公司，是一家专业生产经营无甲醛家具板材、三聚氰胺饰面板及家居配套材料的专业经营企业。天湘板业于2002年8月28日在广州正式成立。

2010年，天湘板业携手万华集团合作推出零甲醛禾香板，零甲醛禾香板是真正不释放甲醛的人造板，结束了传统人造板必然释放甲醛的历史。天湘板业是全国第一家生产无甲醛家居全品类材料的专业经营企业。

2011年，天湘板业在行业内首个提出“家居材料全品类集成供应商”经营模式，并着手筹备以三聚氰胺饰面板为主的家具配套系列产品，并在新产品上的设计、配套与测试等各方面展开调研工作。

2012年7月，天湘板业在第十四届国际建博会上正式上市以三聚氰胺饰面板为主的家居配套各种产品及一站式服务体系，家具配套产品中有同色包覆线条、同色包覆铝型材、同色PVC膜、同色吸塑门板、同色百叶板、同色封边条和坑槽板及各种款型个性化腰线等。

2013年3月天湘板业为了适应市场的需求，正式启动公共装饰材料的研发及生产，同时扩建家居配套材料生产基地。至目前天湘板业成为国内首家实践以三聚氰胺饰面板为主的家居配套材料专业经营的企业。

2013年10月，天湘7月推出实用型专利产品——多层实木饰面板受到了广大的客户青睐，而市场追求高端品质、健康环保的需求日益增大，天湘于10月在广州花都区正式组建专供定制家居使用的三聚氰胺多层实木饰面板生产基地，并在当年投入生产使用。这也是天湘板业的第五个板材生产基地。
