九毛九——来自山西，中国面食之乡。

上古时期出现的华夏第一饼，自此顺流而下，汉之"煮饼"、晋之"烫饼"、南北朝之“水引”，唐之"冷淘"……元朝马可波罗沿着"丝绸之路"将面食传入意大利，西方便有了通心粉，太原街头的面食馆，辗转传入日本，才有今日的荞面馆……

1995年10月25日，九毛九从海口市南航东路上的“山西面王”开始起步。2002年6月18日，九毛九走出海南，在黄埔大道西赛马场美食街开了在广州的第一家分店——马场店，总部广州九毛九餐饮连锁股份有限公司成立。
