一、悠久的酿造历史,丰厚的文化底蕴
据史料记载:兰陵美酒始酿于商代,古卜辞中的“鬯其酒”记载,便是兰陵美酒的最早见证,迄今已有3000多年的历史。战国时期,这里为楚国重邑,曾对中国思想变革产生巨大影响的一代圣哲荀子,在这里两任兰陵令,为兰陵酒业的发展奠定了历史文化基础。
两汉时期,兰陵美酒已成贡品。1995年秋,在江苏省徐州市狮子山楚王墓的发掘过程中,一个令整个世界酿酒业和考古界震惊的重大发现公诸于世,即兰陵美酒在沉埋2148年后被发掘出土,重新面世,经专家鉴定,这是目前世界上出土年代最久,保存最完好,直接印有贡酒名称的酒品,成为中国95年度十大考古发现之首。楚王陵以石成墓,兰陵美酒置于墓室庖橱间,陶制球形坛内。泥封上印有“兰陵贡酒”、“兰陵丞印”、“兰陵之印”戳记,保存完整无缺。打开封泥后,一股浓郁的酒香溢出,令现场考古专家惊叹不已。经国内外考古专家鉴定,与今日兰陵美酒同为一宗,印证了兰陵美酒3000年的酿造历史。
北魏时期,农学家贾思勰对兰陵美酒生产工艺进行科学分析,加工整理,并载入世界第一部农业科学经典《齐民要术》之中,使这一宝贵的历史文化遗产得以保留至今。
唐代开元盛世,歌舞升平,农业的进步促进了兰陵酒业飞速发展,除贡奉皇宫外,还通过京杭大运河,远销江宁、钱塘等地。
唐诗斗李白开元二十八年五月来山东游历,经下邳过兰陵,闻酒香弥漫,见酒旗飞舞,于是痛饮神往已久的兰陵美酒,触发灵感,写下了:“兰陵美酒郁金香,玉碗盛来琥珀光;但使主人能醉客,不知何处是他乡”千古绝句。李白号称“诗仙”、“酒仙”,斗酒诗百篇,唯对兰陵美酒从色、香、味、情进行了综合鉴赏,描绘出兰陵美酒风格独特、色泽殊美、味压群芳的独特个性。北宋著名书画家米芾饮兰陵美酒后,挥毫泼墨,写下了:“阳羡春茶瑶草碧,兰陵美酒郁金香”的诗句。目前,这一巨联真迹仍完好存于湖北襄樊的米公祠内。由此可见,北宋年间,兰陵美酒与阳羡春茶驰名于大江南北,被颂为宋代的两大名产。
明代医学泰斗李时珍,饮兰陵美酒后,从医学的角度给予高度赞赏,在他的名著《本草纲目》中写道:“兰陵美酒,清香远达,色复金黄,饮之至醉,不头痛,不口干,不作泻。共水秤之重于他水,邻邑所造俱不然,皆水土之美也,常饮入药俱良”。
清代诗坛盟主王渔洋在《寄任同年》一诗中写道:“阳羡六斑茶,兰陵十千酒。古来佳丽区,遥当五湖口……”这里不仅赞美了兰陵美酒的名贵,而且赞美了兰陵自古以来就是一个美丽富饶的地区。
1914年,在“山东第一次物品展览会”上,兰陵美酒、兰陵郁金香分别获得“优等奖银牌”和“最优等褒奖金牌”。
1915年,在美国旧金山召开的“巴拿马--万国博览会”上,兰陵美酒荣获金质奖章。使这一传统名酒名播海外,誉满神州,跻身于国家名酒之列。
1916年,在“首届中华国货展览会”上,兰陵美酒又获二等奖。
1948年11月,兰陵解放后,在兰陵古镇东醴源私人酒店基础上,联合八家私人大酒店和三十余家私人作坊组建了山东兰陵美酒厂。
新中国成立后,党和政府对兰陵酒业的发展都给予了极大的关注和支持。
1954年,国务院总理周恩来率团参加日内瓦国际和平会议,把兰陵美酒作为“国酒”带到宴会上招待与会各国首脑,再次提高了这一传统名酒的国际声誉。
1957年,全国人民代表大会常务委员会委员长朱德召见城市服务部部长杨一辰时说:“你们山东出一种名酒,叫兰陵美酒,兰陵美酒是李白喝过的,他喝了酒还作了诗。兰陵酒还用原来的陶瓷瓶,把李白的诗句写在上面,加上中外文说明,就可以大量出口”。朱德委员长的这一指示,对改进兰陵酒的包装装潢,增加出口创汇能力起了很大的推动作用。
沧海桑田,世事变幻,兰陵美酒成为中华酒文化的瑰宝。
二、曲折中前进,涅槃中永生
党的十一届三中全会以来,兰陵酒业有了新的发展,企业推行全面质量管理,实施现代化管理战略,以优质的产品,良好的信誉,在激烈的市场竞争中,不断发展壮大。
1993年春,经过不断规模发展,以山东兰陵美酒厂(1994年6月改组为兰陵美酒股份有限公司)为核心,组建成立了山东兰陵企业(集团)总公司。
八五、九五期间,兰陵集团不断发展壮大,跻身于中国500家最大工业企业、中国十大酿酒企业集团和山东省136家重点企业集团之列。
